# Deployment Center v4.16 · What shipped

Short post, because this one is about a build I’ve written the long version of already. This one is the release note.
Deployment Center is the sequence a new subscriber walks through between paying and placing their first automated trade. Five outside systems, one linear flow, and the difference between a subscriber who finishes and a subscriber who quietly cancels. Here’s what changed in v4.16.
## What changed
**Seven-phase progress bar.** The previous version had a fake progress bar that wasn’t tied to anything real — a decorative line that filled in as you scrolled, not as you actually made progress. The new bar is bound to the seven phases of setup (account, chart access, broker connect, execution layer, first webhook fired, first signal received, first trade completed) and updates the moment the backend confirms each step. If your bar is at phase three, you actually finished phases one and two. No more decorative honesty.
**Per-phase SVG artwork.** Each of the seven phases now has its own illustration — a small, brand-consistent SVG that reinforces where you are in the sequence. This sounds cosmetic and it partially is, but the effect on comprehension is real. A subscriber who can see the shape of the phase they’re in gets stuck less often than one staring at a wall of instructions.
**Scroll bug fixed.** On some browsers, the previous version silently held the page scroll at the top of the current phase when the phase advanced, so the next set of instructions was below the fold and the subscriber didn’t know they’d unlocked new content. Fixed. Scroll now follows the active phase.
**Killed the redundant widgets.** Three floating widgets in the old flow — a “help” chip, a “progress” chip, and a “chat” chip — all fought for the same corner and none of them were doing meaningful work. Two are gone. The one that remains (help) actually links to Library search, so it does what its label promised. Fewer moving parts, more focus.
## Why it matters
The trading system can be excellent and a subscriber can still quit at step three because they didn’t realize step three was finished. That’s the failure mode Deployment Center exists to eliminate. Every version I ship trims that risk further.
I also want subscribers to feel — from minute one — that the polish bar on the setup flow is the same as the polish bar on the indicators. If the setup flow looks like a weekend project, the trader in front of it starts asking whether the underlying methodology is a weekend project too. It isn’t, and the interface should stop suggesting it might be.
## Where this fits
v4.16 lands the same day as **Library v4** (documentation rebuild) and three updated indicators. The three ship together so the docs describe the product that actually exists. That’s the discipline.
The next iteration on Deployment Center will focus on the branching path for subscribers who already have TradingView accounts vs. new ones — right now the flow assumes new. That work lands before Charter Members open **September 15**. If you’re on the waitlist, you’ll see the smoother version first.
